I made this oil dispenser after purchasing a bulk-sized container of olive oil. We use olive oil frequently in our home, so buying in bulk made sense. To solve for dispensing the oil, I wanted to make a vessel that would be easy enough to use on a daily basis. From a design perspective, it was important to me to label this as olive oil, since I hope to make more dispensers for other often-used liquids. At the bottom of the exterior, I used a teal floral transfer that offers a subtle motif against the hazelnut-colored clay.
