Made-to-order pieces are produced only after a customer places an order. As a small-batch ceramicist, this allows us to minimize waste. Made-to-order pieces may take 4-6 weeks to complete.

Products that are made-to-order are indicated as such in the product name.

Orders will be processed and shipped within 1-3 business days (excluding made-to-order pieces). 

All items ship from the DC metro area and shipping times will vary depending on the the shipping option you choose and your location. Orders are currently limited to the USA.

If you order multiple items, everything will be shipped in one package unless the order is too large for a single box. 

All items will be "double boxed." This means the item will be packaged in a smaller box and put in a second shipping box. This is to ensure the safety of your ceramic items. 

While we do our best to safely package your items, once the package is delivered to the shipping provider, it is out of our hands. 

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns or exchanges at this time. If your order is damaged, please contact kimshepardpottery@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving your order.

We currently only ship within the US.

Yes, all our ceramic items are made with food-safe glazes unless otherwise specified.

Yes, all ceramic items from our shop are dishwasher-safe unless otherwise specified. However, we recommend handwashing to prolong the life of handmade pottery.
