A favorite of mine. My wife is a painter and I wanted to surprise her with something that would add delight to her artistic process. Functionally, a lidded paint palette allows a painter to store their mixed paints without drying out. I made the palette big enough to mix a variety of paints without being cumbersome. The interior color was straightforward to decide on — white, to best see the paint colors. I wanted to incorporate blue on the outside and brushed it on, rather than dipping (my typical method), to keep in line with being inspired to paint.
